Biography
I'm a lifelong naturalist and aspiring nature photographer. I've been exploring the Southern Cumberland region since 1980, and have lived in Marion County, TN since 1994. I've been a member of the Marion County Greenways and Trails Committee since 2006. Professionally, I work as a self-employed landscaper. My wife, Kim, is a fitness instructor. We live on the outskirts of Jasper, TN with our two dogs and three chickens.
Interests
The goal of this site is to be a comprehensive source of information about outdoor recreation and conservation issues in the Southern Cumberland region. Primary focus is Marion County, TN and immediate vicinity, but coverage includes the Cumberland Plateau region of, and adjacent to, the Sequatchie-Guntersville watershed.
